Art Space at the Playhouse
Art in Conversation
Step into the Marilyn Meyerhoff Lobby and you’ll find the Art Space at the Martha’s Vineyard Playhouse, where visual art meets the work on stage. Featuring rotating exhibitions by local and visiting artists, it’s a place to slow down, take a look, and engage with the work up close, whether you’re here for a performance or just passing through.

Interested in exhibiting at the Art Space?
The Art Space is a rotating exhibition space that connects the theatrical and community programming at the Playhouse, creating a dialogue between visual art and the broader creative work happening on site. We are especially interested in emerging artists and welcome a wide range of mediums, including installation, sculpture, mixed media, and other experimental work beyond traditional two-dimensional art.
