Art Space at the Playhouse

Art in Conversation

Step into the Marilyn Meyerhoff Lobby at Martha’s Vineyard Playhouse and you’ll find the Art Space, where visual art meets stage performance. Featuring rotating exhibitions by local and visiting artists, it’s a place to slow down, take a close look, and engage, whether you’ve arrived for a show or are just passing through.

Interested in exhibiting at the Art Space?

A rotating-exhibition space that connects the theatrical and community programming at the Playhouse, the Art Space invites a dialogue between visual art and the broader creative work happening on site. We are especially interested in emerging artists and welcome a wide range of art, including installation, sculpture, mixed media, and other experimental work beyond the traditional two-dimensional kind.

The Art Space is curated by Kate Lizotte, who can be reached at artspace@circuitarts.org.
