The Grange Hall and the Vineyard’s Drive-In at the YMCA are available to rent.
GRANGE HALL
Both floors of this landmark building are available to rent year round, together or separately, offering a unique setting for a variety of occasions. Nearly all Mondays and Tuesdays are available, but please note that end-of-week and weekend use from May through September are very limited due to extensive summer programming.
Theater
The second-story theater at the Grange Hall can accommodate 75 people, for screenings and live events. It has heating, air conditioning, wheelchair-accessibility, and on-site parking. Seating is a mixture of couches, loveseats, and comfortable single chairs.
The space is ideal for movie screenings, lectures, and discussion groups.
Main Hall
This historic post-and-beam hall is perfect for receptions, dinners, private parties, and community events. The hall can accommodate 150 people seated, and 250 standing. It has heating, wheelchair-accessibility, and on-site parking, but no air conditioning. It is equipped with a kitchen, but catered food must be prepared off-site and all necessary town permitting must be handled by the renter. Alcohol is permitted for private events only, and is to be entirely handled by the renter.

PRICING
Base price:
Theater only, for private event, for-profit business event, or non-local nonprofit event - $1,250
Theater only, for Martha’s Vineyard nonprofit event - $950
Theater and main hall, for private event or for-profit event - $3,000*
Theater and main hall, for local nonprofit event - $2,000*
All prices include the attendance of one house manager. Events necessitating the attendance of a technical staff member will incur an additional $35-per-hour charge, from the time of that person’s arrival to the time of their departure. Technical staff is required for film and live events on the stage.
* Main hall rentals constitute use of the space for the entire day. If you are envisioning using the main hall for just an hour or so around the time of use of the theater, this is an explorable possibility at no additional charge.
Optional Services:
Additional house or technical staff - $37.50/hr per person
Concessions, Lite (one staffer, plus popcorn and one drink for each guest) - $300
Concessions, Full (all of the above, plus one snack for each guest) - $500
Event ticketing - $200 plus credit card processing fees (settled post-event)
CONSIDERATIONS
Due to technical limitations, the theater cannot accommodate live Zooms. Live music events require a separate sound person hired by the renter. Please inquire for preferred technical vendors.
Events must be booked at least 30 days in advance.

PRICING
$2,000, which includes a venue manager and one technical staffer.
Concessions service is available for an additional $150. These include candy, popcorn, and drinks for a la carte purchase by your guests.
RESTROOMS
Port-a-potties are available on site.
A NOTE ON WEATHER
Unfortunately, Mother Nature doesn’t always cooperate, and while we all can weather a little passing rain, we do cancel in the event of stormy conditions. The difficult decision is made on the day of the screening, based on the best available weather data and our sincere hunch as islanders. The Drive-In relies on a few precious pieces of equipment in order to operate successfully, and our decision to cancel is made with its safety in mind. We reserve the right to cancel when conditions are likely to be unkind to both electronics and humans (think escalating wind and rain, and certainly thunder or lightning).
If a weather-related cancellation is made anytime before the start of the rental, $750 (of the $1,000 deposit) will be refunded.
If a weather-related cancellation is made during the screening, no refund will be given. You are welcome to reschedule, although we cannot guarantee the Drive-In will be available at a later date.
