JAWS @ 50: THE DEFINITIVE INSIDE STORY

This hotly awaited new documentary was expressly made by director Steven Spielberg’s own production company, Amblin Entertainment, and National Geographic, to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the release of Jaws. Featuring rare archival footage and directed by Laurent Bouzereau, who has also made an award-winning documentary about Jaws composer John Williams, the film explores the chaotic production on Martha’s Vineyard, the origins of the novel adapted for the screen, and the cultural obsession both birthed. With insights from cast, crew, and ocean advocate Wendy Benchley, wife of the late Jaws writer Peter Benchley, this film dives into the enduring appeal of Spielberg’s now-classic thriller, its legacy, and its surprising impact on shark fascination and marine conservation. -

In this new comedy costarring Amanda Peet and Alessandro Nivola, and partly set on Martha’s Vineyard, a laid-off, thirty-something New York paralegal starts babysitting his psychiatrist’s granddaughters and falls for their mother, an actress in a rocky marriage. -

Co-written by Ian Shaw, son of legendary British actor Robert Shaw, who played Quint, it brings us aboard the Orca and behind the scenes on the 1974 film set.Presented by the North Shore Music Theatre, in association with Circuit Arts

THE BOURNE IDENTITY: DIRECTOR'S CUT

Join director Doug Liman and former Universal Pictures chairman Stacey Snider for an exclusive screening of the director’s cut of the first film in the Bourne series. As the film plays, they will offer live commentary, sharing behind-the-scenes stories, production challenges, and the unconventional choices that helped redefine the modern spy thriller. We are proud to present her with Circuit Arts’ second Martha’s Vineyard Film Icon Award, celebrating her extraordinary impact and career. The evening will include a short screening, a silent auction, and an Italian-inspired dinner by chef Nina Levin, along with heartfelt tributes from renowned scholar Henry Louis Gates, Jr., and philanthropist Jim Swartz, reflecting on Ms. Dreyfous’s lasting legacy.Tickets for this special event are $350 each.
