Join us as we honor producer Geralyn White Dreyfous, a visionary whose work has shaped the world of documentary filmmaking. We are proud to present her with Circuit Arts’ second Martha’s Vineyard Film Icon Award, celebrating her extraordinary impact and career. The evening will include a short screening, a silent auction, and an Italian-inspired dinner by chef Nina Levin, along with tributes from professor and filmmaker Henry Louis Gates, Jr., film producer Nina Fialkow, and philanthropist and film producer Jim Swartz.

Tickets for this special event are $350 each.

Geralyn Dreyfous is an Academy Award-winning film producer renowned for her unwavering commitment to social  justice storytelling. With over 228 producing credits since 2003, she has been a prominent presence in documentary filmmaking, helping to illuminate pressing global issues and amplify underrepresented voices. She is a co-founder of the documentary film-funding company Impact Partners, a co-founder and chief film officer of the independent-film streaming platform JOLT, chair and co-founder of the Utah Film Center, and a co-founder of Gamechanger Films. In early June of this year, the Women’s Media Center awarded her its Pat Mitchell Lifetime Achievement Award.

Ms. Dreyfous's producing portfolio includes the acclaimed documentaries Born into Brothels (2004), which won the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature; The Invisible War (2012), an Academy Award-nominated and Peabody Award-winning exposé on sexual assault in the U.S. military; The Square (2013), which received both an Academy Award nomination and an Emmy Award; and the Academy Award-winning Navalny (2022). Her films often tackle critical subjects, from gender inequality and political unrest to digital privacy and public health crises.
