A young warrior, Ashitaka, is cursed by a demon while defending his village, sending him on a journey to find a cure. Along the way, he becomes entangled in a conflict between forest spirits and a human settlement exploiting the land. At the heart of the struggle is San, a girl raised by wolves, whose fierce loyalty to the forest challenges Ashitaka’s hope for peace. As their paths intersect, the story unfolds into a reflection on the delicate balance between human ambition and the natural world, and the possibility of understanding across divides.
