The disturbing story of the Sarah Lawrence College students who were controlled and abused by the father of a former classmate, this Hulu docuseries is a compelling exploration of the perils of psychological manipulation. In the first episode, it’s 2010 and eight sophomores arrive to find an ex-con, Larry Ray, on their dorm steps. Before long, he becomes their ninth roommate and lures them into a dangerous cult.
