Dir. Becky Hutner | Documentary | U.K. / U.S.A. | 2022 | 1 hr. 30 min.
Rising British designer Amy Powney was raised on a remote homestead in England, by parents who were activists. She has always felt uneasy about the environmental impact of the fashion industry. When she wins the Vogue award for Best Young Designer of the Year, she decides to put the prize money toward creating a collection that is ethical and sustainable at every level. This film charts her journey from outsider to industry leader, as her own personal revolution becomes the precursor of a much bigger, societal change.
