Martha's Vineyard's great ponds have provided sustenance and beauty for generations, but now many of them have reached a tipping point, with algae blooms suffocating shellfish and cyanobacteria posing risks to pets and humans. The second episode of a three-part series, this film highlights the efforts of organizations like Great Pond Foundation and Martha's Vineyard Shellfish Group, along with the Martha's Vineyard Commission and community members, to address challenges and provide solutions in order to save the ponds.
