In this film of her autobiographical play performed earlier this year at the Cotuit Center for the Arts, acclaimed actor Amy Brenneman (Judging Amy, Private Practice, The Leftovers, Heat, The Old Man) shares her path to becoming a dedicated ally to her daughter Charlotte, who was born with a rare chromosomal abnormality. Despite years of testing and assessments yielding few answers, Brenneman embraces a new direction. Created alongside longtime collaborator Sabrina Peck, and enriched by music and movement, Overcome is a funny, poignant, and powerful exploration of disability, the notion of "normalcy," and the challenges and promises of an inclusive society.

Tickets for this screening are general-admission and pay-what-you-can. The suggested ticket price is $20. If you can pay more, we greatly appreciate it!
