It all started with a worker-activist group founded by Chris Smalls, a fired employee at Amazon’s JFK8 warehouse on Staten Island, but by 2022, at the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Amazon Labor Union had officially come into being. The New York Times described it as "one of the biggest victories for organized labor in a generation." A winner at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival, this observational documentary captures this historic push to unionize, and the stark reality of the fight for workers’ rights in our 21st-century world of hypercapitalistic corporate giants.

Tickets for this screening are general-admission and pay-what-you-can. The suggested ticket price is $20. If you can pay more, we greatly appreciate it!
